About Us

The public policy of the state of California is to protect the best interest of children whose parents have a custody or visitation matter in family court. Sometimes, based on issues of protection and safety, a judge will order that a child only have contact with a parent when a neutral third person is present during the visitation. This type of third-person visitation arrangement is often called “supervised visitation.”

Our goal is to provide children the opportunity to visit with their non-custodial parent or significant family members in a safe, neutral, and stable environment. As a trained Supervised Visitation Monitor I observe the interactions between the child(ren) and the parent in an objective and neutral manner. This enables the child and the parent to have an enjoyable and safe visit in a stress-free and relaxing environment.

Definition of a Professional Supervised Visitation Monitor: Family Code section 3200 defines the term ‘Provider’ as including any individual or Supervised Visitation center that monitors visitations. Supervised Visitation is the contact between a noncustodial party and one or more children in the presence of a neutral third person.

At Supervised Child Visits, we also provide professional training for individuals who desire a part-time career as a Professional Supervised Visitation Provider, in addition to anger management coaching, one-on-one teen coaching, and teen life skills; an evidence-based curriculum.

all the kidsWe work together with other affiliates and organizations such as The Hope Portal, The Children Safety Alliance, 211 California and the Los Angeles County Probation Dept – just to name a few, in hopes of creating stronger, safer, more healthier communities.

Below are the areas we service:

Testimonials

Sandra R.  Los Angeles, CA

In the time Tamara has monitored my daughter I have found her to be nothing but a professional. She is timely, organized and hyper-vigilent; this makes me, as a custodial parent, feel very comfortable.

Laura M.  Los Angeles, CA

As a non-custodial parent, I always feel Ms. Tamara does her best to see that I and my child enjoy our time together. She is friendly and very professional. She monitors for me once a week.

Carey M.  Los Angeles, CA

Tamara goes by the book. She sees to it that I stay within the guidelines and is professional at all times. She is good with children, even pre-teen boys.

R. Curry  Glendale, CA

Tamara, Thank you. I have my first client on Fridays and Sundays for 3 hours each visit. The best part is she lives five minutes from me.

P. Wilcher  Los Angeles, CA

The training was outstanding and great information to become a successful monitor.

D. Wiley  Los Angeles, CA

This course is short but impactful.

C. Callegari  Los Angeles, CA

Tamara, I am very impressed with your knowledge and how you presented. You are dynamic!

C. Flechas  San Diego, CA

I took the training course in July of 2013 and highly recommend this training for anyone seeking to work as a visitation monitor.  Mrs. Daniel's training was so complete and informative that I have felt very confident and well guided.  In talking with peers, I have confirmed that Mrs. Daniel's training is far beyond the best because it provides in-depth training in all areas of the business.  I have several clients at this point and I am very happy that I decided to become a visitation monitor.  As a single mother of two young children, the flexibility and independence that your own business brings to you is priceless. Thank you!

L. Davine  Psychotherapist

Thank you so much again for the wonderful class. I am very grateful for all that I learned in the class and appreciate all your sollow through and support with the documents and helpdesk. I appreciate what a good role model that you are. I was inspired by the class and you.

M. Leyva  Advocacy Program Director

You have been an inspiration to me. I took your class last year and finally I was able to put together a non-profit called The Children's Safety Alliance. Our visitation services are both in English and Spanish. We partner with Churches and other agencies.

L. Iglesias  Professional Visitation Monitor

Well lollipop, lol. I can't thank you enough for providing me and countless others, with the opportunity to grow financially, while helping children through experiencing healthy visits with their parent. Thank you again, I really hope you like my website.

D. Storay  Sr. Probation Officer

The best training I've had in 25 years. Tamara you are organized and professional, and all the information is helpful. No wasted topics.

L. Sandoval  Grad Student

Thanks so much Tamara... What can I say, the past few months just prove over and over again that taking your class was one of the best decisions I could have made for myself. I keep getting referrals, thanks to the tips you gave us on leads. I'm building my own schedule while having time to keep up my crazy, grad school schedule. And I feel like I'm making a difference in families by facilitating the process of visitations. So thanks again.

Jacques  Program Director

Tamara, I have another new client. It's 10 hours a week split between two days. I charge $85 per hr. One client for now is sufficient.

Jessica F  Professional Visitation

After the Supervised Child Visitation training course ended on October 1st, I began creating my website on October 3rd and created an advertising for my business on Facebook.

R. Curry  Glendale, CA

Tamara Daniels training style is cleverly reinforced with teaching methods that were key to my successful career as a LA County based Professional Provider for two years. Supervised Child Visits provided me with valuable professional skills and prepared me when fine attention to detail is required.

J. Pete

Hello Ms. Tamara, update on this case, the attorney for the NCP wanted to see all documents and I did get the NCP to complete and sign the documents for the attorney's. The exchange takes place at the sheriff's station, four hour weekly visit which include one hour at the library for home work which is directly across from the sheriff's station and the balance of time at park or Chuck E Cheese, etc. (10 yr. old boy)The attorney said it was an unusual case but all is well.

Bree S.

“Tamara, I have 5 clients now. My sister and I are now working together—she took your class also. We plan to open up an Agency. –Angel V (2018).

“By the way, I have spoken to many potential monitors and I am asking all of them if they know if other monitors for the job, and everyone, I mean everyone, is giving your name and singing your praises. I also contacted another client who is in a high conflict case and she went on her list serve for high conflict cases, and your name too was recommended by the group. I thought it would be nice for you to know how respected you are in the community and how much everyone values your work.”

Best,

Melissa B. Buchman, Esq.

“After a few months, I now have 2 cases and one pending. One in Garden Grove (hours per month) and one in Carson (3 hours per week and pending in Lakewood 2.0 hours per week).” –Linda B. (2018)
